Basis for an accurate, on-schedule production

To enable an accurate finishing of your promotional item, we require a camera-ready model. The colour must be given in pantone or HKS colour scale. If you do not have the necessary data and model at hand, CS DESIGN graphical service can help you generate them.

Prepress repro

Screenprint

• one screen print film per colour, right reading
• camera-ready paper copy
• rastertised models not more than a 30 grid

Pad printing

• one pad printing film per colour, reverse reading
• camera-ready paper copy

Laser engraving

• camera-ready paper copy
• digitalised models, file format: EPS, PLT, CDR, GIF

Technical terms

Vectorized

Graphics are either saved in a vectorised or a pixel-format. Pixel: GIF, JPEG, FAX; Point by point saving for given size. Possible loss of quality with change of size. Vector: WMF, Adobe Illustrator®-files, CorelDRAW®-files; image composed of geometrical figures (circle, rectangle, lines etc.) change of size without loss of quality.

EPS format

The standardised encapsulated postscript format is used for the exchange of vectorised graphical data between different applications.

Print colours

Pantone and HKS are standards with which colours and shades can be determined accurately to avoid colour errors. They also contain gold and silver, as well as fluorescent colours.

Writing

We also use vectorised format for lettering data to ensure problem-free enlargement or reduction of size.
